Stratos79 leads seed round in Tabarak
The group led the embedded insurance company's seed financing alongside Y Combinator and Algebra Ventures.
Stratos79 led the seed round in Tabarak, a Cairo-based embedded insurance business selling warranty and shipping cover inside merchant checkouts.
The group holds 16% following the round. Y Combinator and Algebra Ventures participated.
Tabarak's founders previously built a payments gateway used by two Stratos79 companies. The group is a shareholder, not an operator.
